Literary online evening «Oh people, I`m with you!»

Due to the global pandemic, the national education system has switched to the distance learning format. Along with regular classes, seminars and conferences, literary evenings are also held online.

On May15.2020, under the leadership of the head of the Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev of the Institute of philology and multilingual education Esenova Kalbike, and in the collaboration with the Caspian state university of technology and engineering named after Sh. Esenov a literary and informative online evening «Oh, people, I am with you!» was held on ZOOM, dedicated to the famous poet Tolegen Aybergenov. According to critics, he brought fresh breath and spiritual revolution to Kazakh poetry.

The poet`s daughter, associate professor Saltanat Aybergenova, who shared her memories and new facts about her father, attended the evening.

The evening was opened by the poet Elena Abdykalikova with the song «Oh people, I`m with you!», written on the verses of Tolegen Aybergenov.

The guests of the evening sang famous songs with lyrics by the poet: the Merited worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn, propagandist of traditional art Saule Zhanpeisova sang the songs «Akkayindar» and «Aksamaldar»(«White Birches» and «Light Breeze»); the Merited worker of Kazakhstan Gulmira Sarina performed the song «Sagynysh» («Longing»). Actor and singer, laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn Baigali Yesenaliev read the poems of the poet «Akhyndyk» and «Bir zhetse menin azhalym zhetedi» («Poetry» and «If I die, I will die from...»). The Merited worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdraim Umirov sang his own song «Tolegenmen sirlasu» («A heart-to-heart conversation with Tolegen»).

The event was also attended by famous Kazakhstanis as Baigali Esenaliev, Baurzhan Zhakyp, Alpysbay Tamaev, Baktybay Zhaylauov, Tursynay Tortkulbaeva, Alimbay Naizabaev, Asenali Kosherov, Al-Farabi Begarisuly.

Students majoring in the Kazakh language and literature in the Caspian state university of technology and engineering named after Sh. Esenov read poems by T. Aybergenov.

The scientist Alimbay Nayzabaev made a report on the topic «The main problems of Tolegentology».

Summarizing the literary evening, which has become a true celebration of poetry, Esenova Kalbike thanked the poet`s daughter Saltanat Aybergenova and other guests.
