International Scientific Conference at the University of Tallinn

On May 29, 2020, the scientists of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, Professor Saule Abisheva and Associate Professor Zinaida Polyak made presentations at the International Scientific Online Conference VI «Samoilov Readings «And I live. And yet I exist...», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Russian poet of the twentieth century, David Samoilov.

The conference was organized by the Institute for Humanitarian Studies of the University of Tallinn (Estonia).

The conference, which lasted more than 9 hours, was attended by leading specialists in the field of history and theory of literature from Estonia, Russia, Latvia, and Ukraine, researchers from other European countries, from the USA and Canada and admirers of D. Samoilov`s work.

The atmosphere of scientific creativity created by the organizers was supported by the participants - not only with their speeches, but also with an interesting discussion of the reports made.
