Approval of the dissertation topic is the first stage of the applicant`s scientific path

On October 23, 2020, at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education teachers, undergraduates and doctoral students met to discuss and approve the topics of master`s and doctoral dissertations.

In the traditions of the department there is a thoughtful and creative attitude to this first and very important stage of the scientific path of young researchers. Indeed, the quality of future scientific work largely depends on how accurate and correct the formulation of the topic will be.

The chairperson of the meeting, the head of the department Saule Abisheva gave the floor to applicants for a scientific degree, their supervisors, scientists of the department. During the meeting, valuable amendments and additions to the proposed topics were voiced. As a result of an interested and friendly discussion the topics of master`s and doctoral students` dissertations were approved in the final formulations.

Young researchers not only became convinced of the correctness of the chosen path, but also received a lesson in professionalism and collegial decision-making.
