Meeting with Abai

On November 13, 2020, at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, a musical and poetry evening «Poetry is the ruler of language» was held, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of our great compatriot, poet and thinker Abai. The organizer of the event was the graduation 4th year of the bachelor`s degree, future teachers of the Russian language and literature under the guidance of their adviser Gulmira Kazhigaliyeva.

Teachers of the department headed by the head Saule Abisheva, as well as 3rd and 4th year students attended the evening.

The scenario of the event developed by student Merey Aubakirova gave the audience an opportunity to plunge into the poetic world of Abai, into the atmosphere of his landscape, love, civic lyrics, his «Book of Words», into the melodic world of his musical works.

The hosts of the evening Madina Rakhman and Ainur Sherniyazova strove to create a warm and cordial atmosphere. This was facilitated by the heartfelt reading of Abai`s poetic lines by students and schoolchildren - students of our student students.

Samal Izturganova`s beautiful performance of the poet`s songs left no one indifferent. As well as the performance of «Kоzimnin Karasy» in an impromptu duet Samal with the teacher Gulnur Baishukurova.

Arailym Koshek, besides the fact that she skillfully performed Abdimomyn Zheldibayev`s kyuy «Erke sylkym», emotionally read the soulful poetic lines of her own composition, which she dedicated to Abai.

Nurym Sarsenbayev artistically performed the role of folklore hero Sheshen Zhirenshe at the evening. He dynamically, lively, emotionally held a quiz on the life and work of Abai.

Sabina Valieva, finishing the evening, with sincere feeling read a poem of her own composition, also dedicated to the great poet.

The guests of the evening no less emotionally shared their impressions with the guys, thanked them from the bottom of their hearts for the excellent event. After all, the online format of this meeting did not prevent the creation of a sincere, creative atmosphere of the evening.
