Scientific conference at M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art

On December 24, 2020, a scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Sh.K. Satpayeva was held at the Institute of Literature and Art named after M. Auezov.

Shamshiyabanu Kanyshevna Satpayeva (1930-2002) was an outstanding scholar and philologist. Her research on the history of Kazakh literature, the development of literary ties, the life and work of Sh. Valikhanov, the creative heritage of A. Baitursynov and other founders of Kazakh literature have become classics of national science.

Students of Sh.K. Satpayeva, followers of her scientific school, attended the conference.

Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Saule Abisheva made a report at the conference. The topic of the report «Traditional and individual phraseological units in the poetry of M. Makatayev» allowed to show the culture of poetic contemplation and innovative search of the remarkable Kazakh poet of the 20th century.

Participation in scientific conferences is one of the forms of cooperation of the Department of Russian Language and Literature with the Institute of Literature and Art named after M. Auezov, who is a scientific partner of the department and an employer for graduates of Abai KazNPU.
