Young researchers conclude Science Month

On 26th April of 2021 a scientific conference of 1st year undergraduates was held at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education. Under the leadership of Professor Damina Shaibakova, an interested conversation took place about the problems of linguistics and literary criticism, which were touched upon in the reports of novice researchers.

The conference was attended by a visiting professor of the department, who lectures to our undergraduates this semester - Professor of Tallinn University (Estonia) Irina Belobrovtseva. She was the leader of one of the talks and warmly welcomed the participants in the meeting.

In her closing speech, the head of the department, Saule Abisheva, wished the speakers further improvement on the way to science and noted the symbolic significance of this meeting: the youngest participants conclude the month of science at the department. This means that the scientific work of philologists has a great future ahead.
