«Decade of science 2022»: creative contest « Customs and traditions of English-speaking countries»

On April 8, 2022, the Department of Foreign Languages, Institute of Philology of Abay KazNPU held a creative contest «Customs and traditions of English-speaking countries», timed to the event «Decade of Science 2022».

and The Master teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages, Syrlan D.N., Serikbay M.M., Kemel B. organized a creative contest in the format of «Exhibition-fair» on the theme «Customs and traditions of English-speaking countries» where 1-2-3 year students of specialty «Foreign languages: two foreign languages» participated. During the competition, customs, traditions and national cuisines were presented in groups «America, England, Australia, Canada, Scotland, New Zealand, South Africa». Among the participants, the 1st place was taken by the group «Canada», the 2nd - «Scotland», the 3rd place - «America».

Foreign undergraduates who arrived under the academic mobility program expressed their opinion about the event, shared their impressions of the competition. They expressed gratitude to the students of Abai KazNPU for their special creativity and ability to express their thoughts freely in English. It was also noted that the competition of creative works on organizational and social significance was held at a very high level and in an open mode.
