Educational excursions

On April 28, 2022, the advisors of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology Mayra Tuleubaeva, Bakhyt Smagulova, Bibizhan Abuova and Aliya Ongarbaeva organized interesting excursions for their 1st and 2nd year students.

The students visited the State Literary and Memorial Museum Complex of Sabit Mukanov and Gabit Musrepov. They got acquainted with the literary exposition, which reflects the life and creative path of writers: youth, years of study, their formation as writers. The museum widely and clearly displays literary documentary materials, as well as manuscripts of works and diary entries, revealing the creative laboratory of writers, the versatility of their talent. Having visited the museum, the students received vivid impressions and discovered a lot of interesting things for their future profession.

Philology students also attended a large-scale festive event at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan «KITAP SHOY`-2022», dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day, which is celebrated annually on April 23. Future linguists visited an exhibition of interesting books, and also met with famous figures of culture and sports.

Advisor Zakira Kokenova organized a visit to the Kazakh National Drama Theater named after M. Auezov for 1st year students of several specialties. The students watched the musical comedy «Khojanasyr is alive!». Before the start of the performance, the students went on tours of the halls and the museum of the theater, met and talked with the People`s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the chief director and artistic director of the theater, Professor E. Obaev.

Such meetings introduce the younger generation to the history, art and cultural heritage of their people.
