In the museum «Victims of political repressions»

On May 31, 2022, the 1st year students of the 101st and 102nd groups of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» under the guidance of the deputy director of the Institute of Philology for educational work Erlan Kassenov visited the museum complex in memory of the victims of political repressions in the village Zhanalyk of Almaty region.

The editors of these groups, Associate Professor Raigul Rakhmetova and Senior Lecturer Karlygash Seitalieva, spoke in detail about the history of the museum. The students got a lot of information and got familiar with the exhibits, starting with the plaque with names of 4125 Kazakhstani people, who became innocent victims of Stalin repressions (1920-1950). The event had an important educational and informative character.
