Educational event «Kipchak on the Throne of Egypt»
The first months of this academic year were remembered for the exceptional activity of creative student youth. One of the proofs of this was the historical, educational and creative evening «Kipchak on the Throne of Egypt», held by 4th year students of the specialty «Two Foreign Languages» of the Institute of Philology on 13 October, 2022.
The event, organized by Raya Kadysovna Orazova, a teacher of students who study Arabic as a second language along with English, was liked by all participants. Many interesting facts about our ancestor Sultan Az-Zakhir Beybarys, who was sold into slavery from the Kipchak steppes and rose to the rank of the ruler of Egypt, shocked the audience. Comprehensive information about his life was presented in the form of slides and supplemented by a special film. The students who played the role of Beybarys and other characters, who showed bright acting abilities, made a special impression. In addition, viewers liked that they conducted a survey of students and filmed a video. Quiz questions were asked, audience feedback was given, and correct answers were rewarded. The students who sang the songs learned in the Arabic lesson achieved their goals.
The event was held at a high level. The fate and deeds of Sultan Beybarys have taught the youth.
