Dedication to students

On November 21, 2022, «Dedication to students» in the main building of Abai University in room 202, took place. The event was opened with parting words by the head of the Department of Eastern Philology and Translation N.N.Konkabaeva. The meeting of the 1st and 2nd courses`
students was prepared by teachers of the Korean language N.S.Nam, E.V.Burmistrova and volunteer teacher Bae Munky, all teachers were actively assisted by students.

The purpose of this event was to unite students who chose the Korean language, immerse themselves in student life through games and communication. All students actively participated in the games, and the best teams received prizes. All games were in Korean, but students did an excellent job and easily guessed quizzes and spoke Korean.

Many videos and photos were made at the dedication, which students actively shared on social networks, including on the page #filologia_kaznpu, #kaznpu_korean and others. The festive and cheerful atmosphere kicked off the whole week and allowed students to take a break from their studies and just enjoy communicating with each other.

Events of this format, aimed at bringing students together, as well as informal communication between students and teachers, are planned to be held annually. And now the future 2nd and 3rd courses` students will meet freshmen in the fall of 2023.
