Philology students listened to a lecture on Russian postmodernism

The series of lectures "Russian Postmodernism" were read by PhD, professor of the University of Zagreb (Republic of Croatia) Jasmina Vojvodić at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai University the 26.09.2023. The unique material on which theoretical part of the course theoretical was based, explores both the chronology and origin of such a complex, hybrid term "postmodernism", and also raises the question of its development and modification nowadays using examples of the latest fiction. Lectures are introduced through conversations, which activate theoretical knowledge from various fields of philology, literary criticism and linguistics acquired by students during their studies.

Also, the course of lectures includes a list of books - outstanding examples of the genre for analysis in practical classes and broadening one`s horizons and literary erudition.
