Meeting of the management of Abai KazNPU with a delegation from China

On October 9, 2023, the management of Abai KazNPU met with a delegation from China (Shandong Province, Jinan City). The event was organised by the Department of International Cooperation of our university. The meeting from Abai KazNPU was attended by the Director of the Department of International Cooperation J.O. Bainazar, Director of the Scientific Library N.J. Imansadykova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports K.A. Baigutov, Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology N.N. Konkabaeva. The composition of the Chinese delegation - Deputy Director of the Information Department of the Jinan City Party Committee, Director of the Cultural Office of Jinan Sun Shihuei, Director of the Information and Education Department of the Jinan City Party Committee Zhang Zhi Guo, Director of the TV channel and radio TV station Jinan Zhang Guangdun, Deputy Director of the Studio of International Communications and Relations Jinan Liu Qintao.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss cooperation in education and culture and the opening of the Chinese cultural corner "Nishan" in Abai KazNPU.

During the event, the parties decided to open a Chinese corner "Nishan" in the library of Abai KazNPU. They also discussed ways of further co-operation in the field of education, signing a memorandum with Chinese universities and holding a number of joint events.
