The Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai University has opened a branch in linguistic gymnasium №35

On February 13, 2024, the opening of the branch of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU took place in one of the elite schools in Almaty, in linguistic gymnasium №35. The solemn event was attended by the director of the Institute of Philology Tanzharikova A.V., Deputy Director for scientific work Naimanbai A.A., Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, G.B. Nuptikeeva, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature S.D. Abisheva, as well as teachers of the department, teachers of the gymnasium and students of the department.

The ceremonial part in the form of cutting the ribbon and signing the agreement on mutual cooperation smoothly turned into a discussion of problems that can be solved within the framework of the signed agreement. This was followed by a seminar on the preparation of scientific papers of students, which was conducted by associate professor of the department Ibraeva Zh.B. After the report, the director of the Institute of Philology Tanzharikova A.V. and Naimanbai A.A., the director of the gymnasium, candidate of Philology Prokopyeva O.A., who outlined the main directions of work of the branch of the department. G.A.Kuatova, senior lecturer of the department, offered constructive ideas on the formation and development of multi-vector activities of the branch. The discussion of plans and various types of work took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, which affected the effectiveness of the meeting.

At the end of the event, the head of the department, doctor of Philology, Professor Saule Abisheva presented her monograph on M.Makataev`s poetry in three languages to the gymnasium library.
