International online conference "Russian Salam"

On 1 November, 2017 teachers and students of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education took part in the International online conference "Russian Salam", organized by the Moscow State Regional University.
The Russian language and literature department has long-standing professional contacts with this Moscow university,therefore the department was invited to participate in a conference on the problems of teaching Russian language in the Turkic-speaking countries.
Thanks to modern technologies, Kazakhstan participants of the conference had an opportunity to get acquainted with scientists from different universities. During the conference, speeches were made by specialists in the Russian language from Moscow, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Khakassia.
Kazakhstan on this online forum was presented by the PhD doctoral student of the Russian Language and Literature Department Zhulduz Tolebayeva, who, under the guidance of Professor Aimgul Kazkenova, prepared the report "Teaching the Russian language in the universities of Kazakhstan".
During the discussion of the reports, Moscow colleagues highly appreciated the scientific level of the speech of the Kazakhstan participant in the conference and suggested continuing collaboration between MSRU and Abai KazNPU.
