Quiz «Do you know our university?»

On 22 February, 2018, on the basis of the Institute of History and Law, an inter-institute event was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Abai KazNPU.

The organizers of the event were the administration, the directorate of the Institute of History and Law, the chair of Practical Languages of the Institute of Philology and multilingual Education. Leading events acquainted those present with the main stages of the university`s formation and emphasized the priorities of the university`s development. Demonstration of a documentary about the 90-year history of Abai KazNPU allowed to learn about the main achievements of the university, including the difficulties faced by its first leaders.

In the quiz «Do you know our university?» 5 university teams took part:

1 team - students of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics studying in the specialties «Mathematics» and «Physics»: Arshin Baisal, Asem Yerkinov, Zhanbota Koylibaeva, Shyryn Berlikozha, Nurzhan Ayzharkynov.

2 team - students of specialties «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge», «Pedagogy and psychology» and «Psychology» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology: Aruzhan Saurbay, Zhansaya Narenova, Moldir Rakhimkulova, Asel Burakhanova, Karlygash Zhumbai.

3 team - students of the specialty «Biology» of the Institute of Natural sciences and Geography: Asylzat Kaldarbek, Lashyn Urazgaliyeva, Aigerim Sadykova, Narkiz Nysanbaykzy, Madina Meiramova.

4 team - students from the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, who master the specialties «Graphics» and «Fine Arts and Drawing»: Aibek Abdikadyr, Aset Konysbaev, Erasyl Kurmanakyn, Diana Nurlankyzy, Feruza Seytmuratova.

5 the team represented the Institute of History and Law, specialty «History»: Sat Abil, Assia Askarbek, Assiya Yusup, Galymzhan Aitkaliev, Akzada Tazhenova.

The students demonstrated profound knowledge of the history of their university, answering all the quiz questions. The participants of the teams were awarded certificates and letters of thanks.

The students of the Institute of History and Law organized music numbers accompanied by dombra. Participants and guests of the event enthusiastically picked up familiar songs: the event did not leave anyone indifferent.

It should be noted that the quiz was of great educational and educational importance: such renowned poets, writers and public figures as Saken Seifullin, Uraz Dzhandosov, Sabit Mukanov, Belgibay Shalabayev, Kudaibergen Zhubanov and others taught at our university. Our university has its own traditions and its approach to training highly qualified teachers.

At this event, a red thread was the idea that the main task of the university is the qualitative training of the personnel of a new formation, competitive, progressive thinking, with a creative and creative attitude to oneself and society. It`s no accident that our university graduates take leading positions in the field of science, education and culture, as well as heads of enterprises and organizations, educational institutions, research institutes and laboratories.
