Participation of the teaching staff of the department in the Games of the University

On 9 - 12 January, 2018, at the sports stadium «Spartak» of Abai KazNPU, the Winter Games «Health - 2018» was held. The organizer of this sports event is the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports. Within the framework of the 4-day sports day, competitions were organized for 7 kinds of sports: volleyball, futsal, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, skiing and skating.

Spartakiada is a complex sports competition and is held in accordance with the calendar of sports competitions at the university. Spartakiada was held to determine the winners by sport and in the overall standings; Determination of the quality of work of teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, responsible for sports mass and physical culture and work in the field of health with teams of institutes and university administration; involvement of university staff in systematic physical training and sports; promotion of sport as an important means of promoting health and attracting teachers to a healthy lifestyle and improving the effectiveness of their physical education.

Our chair took part in the competition for tug-of-war and took the 2nd place in the team of teachers of our institute.
