Work on educational programs

From February 15 to February 17, 2018, KazNPU named after Abay discussed the content of the new educational programs of 23 pedagogical specialties. The need for their compilation is dictated by the transition of the republic`s schools to programs of renewed content. In the discussion of the programs organized by the Educational and Methodical Association of the Republican Educational Methodical Council for the group of specialties «Education», the teaching staff of our university, as well as the employees of the National Academy of Education named after I. Altynsarin, Nazarbayev Intellectual School, representatives of a number of universities in Kazakhstan.

Among the new educational programs, specialty programs «5В011800 - Russian Language and Literature» and «5В012200 - Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Non-Russian Language of Education» were also considered. Members of the Russian language and literature chair carry out work on them: Saule Abisheva, Zinaida Polyak and Aimgul Kazkenova. On 15-17 February, colleagues from other universities of the country also took part in the discussion of these programs: Evgenia Zhuravleva (Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov), Leila Mirzoyeva (Suleiman Demirel University), Saule Zharbulova (Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata).

The joint discussion of the structure and content of educational programs turned out to be extremely fruitful: colleagues from other universities shared their experience and their vision of how the future teachers of the Russian language and literature should be trained in pedagogical universities in Kazakhstan. Work on the programs will be continued in the coming months.
