Report-presentation of trip
to the international discussion platform

On April 10, 2019, in the framework of the Decade of Science conducted by our university, Dr. PhD Alla Dzhundubayeva and second-year students of the Russian Language and Literature Department presented a report-presentation to St. Petersburg, to the International Discussion Platform «Children`s books like wings» at the invitation of A.I. Gertzen Russian State Pedagogical University on the March 26-31.

Students Alexandra Lebedeva, Arai Nusipbekova and Anastasia Potapenko made scientific presentations which they made at seminar on children`s literature in St. Petersburg.

Students Diana Sartbaeva, Alina Afanasyeva, Ainur Shurniyazova and Daria Karamshuk shared their impressions of each day of their stay in the northern capital of the Russian Federation and told about all the activities of the scientific and cultural program of the discussion platform.

All the participants of the trip expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the native university of Abai KazNPU and the head of the Russian language and literature department S.D. Abisheva for the opportunity to participate in this international event, as well as the Institute of Childhood of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Gertzen represented by associate professor Marina Kostyukhina for the invitation to such a grand scientific holiday and for excellent organization.

Alla Dzhundubayeva summed up the significance of the obtained scientific experience for students and in general for the university and expressed a wish to continue this kind of international cooperation between universities.

In conclusion of the event, the head of the department S. Abisheva expressed her joy at the revival of the philological traditions of our university and hope for their development at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.
