Workshop in Kapchagay

On November 29, 2019, teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education took part in the republican workshop in the Republican Training and Health Center «Baldauren» located in the city of Kapshagay, Almaty region.

The purpose of the event is to create a platform for professional discussion, exchange of experience and cooperation of teachers on the implementation of facilitation in the practice of teaching the Russian language and Russian literature. Facilitation is skills and a set of methodological tools that allow you to effectively organize a group discussion.

During the seminar, interesting and useful for teachers workshops were held. Dina Sabirova, Ph.D. Senior Lecturer in the Department of Russian Language and Literature, held a master class «Facilitation in the teaching of Russian language and literature», during which teachers used relevant methods and techniques as an example of a Russian literature lesson. Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, 2nd year doctoral student Akmaral Umarova conducted a master class on the topic «CLIL technology in teaching Russian in multilingual conditions». Marina Asylbekova, Ph.D., editor-in-chief of the Almatykitap Baspasy publishing house, used her many years of experience as a teacher during a master class on the topic «Active teaching methods in literature lessons in the context of updated educational content».

At the end of the seminar, an exchange of useful methods and new ideas on the continuation of fruitful cooperation took place. All participants were awarded letters of appreciation and certificates.
