A healthy mind in a healthy body

Activists of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual education organized volleyball competitions among students «A healthy mind in a healthy body», dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the seventh of December in 2019. The students of first, second, third and fourth courses and undergraduates of first course of specialities «Philology», «Kazakh language and literature», «Russian language and literature», «Two foreign languages» were participated in this event. The competition was organized and conducted by Deputy Director for educational work of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual education Kasenov Erlan Slambekovich.

Four male and four female teams took part in the sports competition. The competitors and fans of each team were determined to win and were ready to fight for every point. As a result of this competition among girls, the 1st place was the team of the specialty «Two foreign languages», the 2nd place was taken by the team of specialty «Philology», and the 3rd place - team of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature».

According to the results of the competition among girls, the first place was taken by the combined team of the specialty «Two foreign languages», the second - the combined team of the specialty «Philology», the third place - the specialty «Kazakh language and literature».

According to the results of the competition among men, the first place was taken by the combined team of undergraduates in the specialty «Kazakh language and literature», the second place in the specialty «Philology», the third place in the specialty «Kazakh language and literature».

In the volleyball competition among girls, the title of «Best Striker» was won by a second year student of the specialty «Two Foreign Languages» Khayrolla Guldana, the first passner was Yersinkyzy Rana, the title «Best Player» was awarded to the first year student of the specialty «Philology» Adilkyzy Karina.

In male volleyball competitions, the title «Best Striker» was awarded to 1st year student of the Kazakh language and literature specialty Amanbek Diaz, «Best passer» - second year undergraduate student Zhumash Baubek, the second-year student of the Kazakh Language and Literature specialty Nursalim Custer was recognized as the «Best Player».

All participants of the competition received a sea of emotions, excellent mood, they expressed great gratitude to the organizers of the competition for their sporting holidays.
