Presentation of researchs at a doctoral seminar

On December 12, 2019, at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, the next meeting of the seminar for doctoral students was held. Presentations were made by 2nd-year doctoral student Elena Shmakova («The author and the hero in modern Russian-language prose of Kazakhstan») and 2nd-year doctoral student Botagoz Baizhigit («Functions of the absurd in the character`s speech sphere (L. Petrushevskaya «Pusyaty pusyati»). Doctoral students reported on the results his research in the form of presentations, emphasizing innovation in the methodology and methodology of analysis of literary texts.

The meeting was held in an expanded format with the participation of leading literary scholars - the head of the department, Professor Saule Abisheva, Professor Karlygash Buzaubagarova, Professor Lyudmila Safronova (workshop leader). To discuss the reports of doctoral students, graduate students in the specialty «Russian Language and Literature» who participated in a scientific conference of the university and aimed at continuing their studies were also invited.
