International Pedagogical Lounge. Exchange of experience in using AI

On December 13, 2024, an international pedagogical lounge dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational process was held on the basis of the Department of Primary Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology and the Department of Primary School of municipal budgetary educational institution engineering and technical lyceum Aviatika. The event brought together participants from various educational institutions and educational institutions, which facilitated the exchange of experiences and opinions.

The event featured four speakers who presented their research and development in the field of AI in education:
1. Skornyakova Anna Yuryevna (c.p.s, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics of Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University) presented the results of an open discussion "Artificial Intelligence in education: for or against", which highlighted the main advantages and disadvantages of using AI in the educational environment. The participants actively discussed aspects of ethics, the availability of resources and the impact of technology on the teaching process.
2. Parnyavskaya N.N. (primary school teacher of school No. 2 "Baryshsky district" of the Ulyanovsk region). She shared her experience with the NIP-73 chatbot, which was developed to support the educational process. The presentation aroused great interest, and the participants discussed the possibilities of using such technologies to increase student engagement.
3. Pronina L.A. (Deputy director for methodological work of the lyceum "Aviatika". Lobnya) conducted an analysis of the teacher`s speech behavior in the classroom using AI. She demonstrated how new technologies can help improve communication between teachers and students, which became an urgent topic for further discussion.

4. Akpaeva A.B. (c.p.s, Professor of Abai KazNPU) presented a report on how AI can contribute to the organization of an individual trajectory of student development. This presentation became the basis for discussing personalized learning and the possibility of introducing AI into the educational process.

After the presentations, an active discussion took place, during which the participants shared their experiences, asked questions and offered their own ideas on the use of AI in education. The participants noted that artificial intelligence has a huge potential to improve the effectiveness of the educational process, but it is important to remember the need for competent implementation and training of teachers.

We hope to continue such events in the future and to deepen cooperation between educational institutions.
