A NETWORKING MEETING WITH BAKHYT ALIPOVA WAS HELD A Networking meeting was held at the Department of Primary Education of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with the participation of Professor Bakhyt Alipova from the University of Kentucky (USA) and the International University of Information Technology (Kazakhstan). The event brought together 1st- and 2nd-year master’s students of the educational program «7M01301 – Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education», as well as faculty members of the department. The main topic of the meeting was «Instructional Analytics and AI: Using Big Data in Education Research». Drawing on her international experience in mathematical and computer modelling, Bakhyt Alipova presented modern approaches to using artificial intelligence and Big Data technologies in educational research. She demonstrated the potential of AI algorithms for analyzing learning processes and shared practical examples of evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs. During the discussion, participants explored the prospects of integrating AI technologies into educational research, methods for interpreting Big Data, the role of learning analytics in improving education quality, and current trends in the digitalization of education. Special attention was given to the use of artificial intelligence in training primary school teachers and in the research activities of master’s students. The Networking meeting served as a platform for exchanging experience, fostering professional communication, and generating new research ideas. Participants noted the practical relevance of the presented material and expressed interest in continuing similar events in the future.
