INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATION MEETINGS WITH PROFESSOR BAKHYT ALIPOVA

On December 4, 2025, the Department of Primary Education of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University held a series of individual consultation meetings with Professor Bakhyt Alipova from the University of Kentucky (USA) and the International University of Information Technology (Kazakhstan). As part of her visit, Professor Alipova conducted consultations with doctoral and master’s students of the department, focusing on the theoretical foundations, methodology, and research approaches relevant to their scientific work.

A discussion with first-year doctoral student Aigerim Mirzakulova, supervised by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Amina Amirova, centered on the topic «Developing Functional Literacy of Primary School Students through Learning Experience Design (LxD)». Doctoral student Maryam Bekbayeva and her scientific supervisor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Assyl Arenova, presented their research on «Developing Functional Mathematical Literacy of Primary School Students through Digital Games». Professor Alipova provided recommendations for refining the research model and improving approaches to digitalization in primary education.

Second-year master’s student Aruzhan Mergenova, supervised by PhD, Acting Associate Professor Aziza Zhunusbekova, presented her study titled «Developing Digital Competence of Primary School Students Using Artificial Intelligence Tools». Professor Alipova emphasized the relevance of the topic and suggested potential directions for integrating AI tools into pedagogical practice.

These individual meetings served as an effective platform for professional interaction, scientific dialogue, and the development of new research ideas among young scholars.
