International Symposium on Modern School Textbooks

 

On September 3rd of 2021 the International Scientific and Practical Symposium "The Language of a Modern School Textbook: Psychological and Didactic Aspects" was held. The plenary session opened with a report by Eldos Nurlanov, director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Examination of Education Content.

 

Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Saule Abisheva took part in the work of the section "Correspondence of the content of textbooks in the social and humanitarian direction of the linguistic personality of students". Her report, co-authored with the associate professor of the department Zinaida Polyak, aroused great interest of the audience, as it was devoted to the problem of interpreting a literary text in a literature textbook, which is relevant for philological teachers.

 

Scientists, textbook authors, school teachers took part in the symposium. The pedagogical, cultural and linguistic aspects of the creation of textbooks received multifaceted coverage at this forum.
