Concert of the University of Latvia Alumni Choir and the Student Choir of the Department of Music Education and Choreography

On October 9, 2019, a joint concert of the «Jubilate» Latvia University Alumni Choir (artistic director - Professor Juris Klavins) and the student choir of the Department of Music Education and Choreography of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports (Conductor: associate professor Svetlana Balagazova) took place.

In her welcoming speech, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva noted that joint creative activities provide a new impetus for cooperation between partner universities, allowing you to touch on the best examples of national musical classics of the Kazakh and Latvian peoples.

As part of the meeting, a master class was held by the honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the artistic director of Bakhytzhan Baikadamov State Academic Choir Capella, professor Beimbet Demeuov.
