Center for the Development of Pedagogical Education of KazNPU named after Abai

 

The Center for the Development of Pedagogical Education (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was created by order of the rector of Abay KazNPU No. 501 dated September 1, 2015 based on the decision of the board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The center is a structural unit of the university.

 

The goal of the Center is to develop teacher education through scientific and methodological support and improve the quality of general secondary, higher and postgraduate education based on the integrated use of modern innovative technologies in the educational process.

 

In accordance with the Regulations on the Center, approved on September 8, 2015 by the rector of the university, its main activities are:

- carrying out fundamental and applied scientific research and introducing their results into the practice of educational organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- promoting the development of international scientific cooperation of Abai KazNPU by establishing connections with higher educational institutions and scientific organizations of the CIS countries, as well as participation in the activities of the Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities.

 

Director of the Center for the Development of Pedagogical Education - Abylkassymova Alma Esimbekovna, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Education, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of the Higher School (Moscow).

 

Under the leadership of academician Abylkassymova A.E. Fundamental and applied research in the field of education is carried out, financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2015-2025) and intra-university projects of KazNPU named after. Abay (2013-2023).

 

Leading specialists from KazNPU named after KazNPU take part in the research. Abay, and Russian scientists in the field of methodology and content of education (Russian Academy of Education, Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, Moscow State University of Technology and Management).

 

In modern conditions, it is impossible to consider and study the problems of continuous pedagogical education in Kazakhstan without the participation of foreign scientists and cooperation with scientific and scientific-pedagogical organizations of foreign countries. To this end, the Center conducted scientific research with foreign scientists.

 

The result of joint scientific activity was numerous scientific articles, preparation and publication of several monographs and textbooks. Thus, the results of joint scientific research with foreign scientists have been published in Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, India, Iran, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
