Webinar «Methods of publishing scientific papers in international journals included

in the Scopus, WOS databases»


As part of the «Science Month - 2021» plan, the Department of Science and the Institute of History and Law held a scientific webinar on the ZOOM platform on April 20, 2021, dedicated to the publication of scientific articles in international journals included in the «Scopus, WOS» databases for undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of our university.


The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Digitalization Sayabek Sakhiyev, who spoke about the purpose of the webinar. He also spoke about the scientific achievements of young scientists of our university.

 

The speakers of the webinar-Head of the Department of «Jurisprudence», Professor Yermek Buribayev and research professor Zhanna Khamzina discussed the following topical issues in the preparation of scientific work:
1. Which manuscript is suitable for publication?
2. Structure of the article;
3. Using interesting and correct language.

 

During the webinar, the teaching staff, doctoral students and undergraduates shared their questions and suggestions on the topic, as well as held a discussion.

 

At the request of the participants of the webinar, the speaker provided everyone with the webinar materials for use in the preparation of scientific work.

 

The webinar was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research and Digitalization Sayabek Sakhiyev, representatives of the Department of Science, the faculty of the Institute, about 70 doctoral and master`s students and about 50 scientists interested in the topic.
