Central Asia problems were discussed at the Institute of History and Law


On 24 November , 2017, at the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law was held an international scientific and practical conference "International Relations in Central Asia: History and Modernity".

 

During the conference were discussed  folowwing  issues: problems of international relations in the region; modern policy of the Central Asian states; the entry of Central Asian countries into the world educational space; historical foundations of the formation of Turkic languages ​​and their role as a factor uniting the Turkic-speaking peoples of the region; ethnopolitical and socio-economic processes taking place in the region and neighboring countries; the emergence of a new legal system. The conference was held in four specialized sections, the working languages ​​of the conference were Kazakh, Russian and English.

Welcoming speech of the University rector Takir Balykbayeva was read by the vice-rector for research and international cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsaryieva.


The conference was attended by a senior researcher of Ch. Ualikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, associate professor Nurlan Atygaiev, professor Saiyn Borbasov, associate professor of the Institute of Ethnography, History and Archeology of the Peoples of the Far East (Russia) V. Gaikin,  Turkologist from Ahi Evran University (Turkey) Osman Kabadayi, representative of the Institute for Scientific Research of Military Art Marat Samatov, representative of the National Defense University First President of the RK - Leader of the Nation Kaisarbek Yesbergenov, Senior Lecturer of M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University Gaukhar Batyrbekkyzy, Professor of al-Farabi KazNU Gali Azimbay, Director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor Bolat Zhumagulov, Head of the Department of World History, Professor Mereke Tulekova.

 

The deputy head of the Culture Department of Almaty, Daniyar Aliyev, the journalist-alashoved Beybit Koyshybai, the political scientist Gabiden Zhakey, as well as representatives of research and public organizations, university lecturers and young scientists expressed their views about the  conference themes.
